a well-deserved break

for the first time in a very long time i forgot about a lot of the things that have been troubling me. i'm glad. :)

yesterday i made plans to meet up with my friends because my maddie wanted to go out. she was on vacation from the states (she studies there). so i first went to mass with my family then i went to my her house where we'd meet up with yobi and leng.

we went to greenbelt and had lunch at bizu (where i had an oh-so-unfortunate accident involving a glass of water and my cargo shorts... and it wasn't my fault, mind you). but it was ayt. we were having loads of fun anyway, reminiscing all the fun times (including our bloopers haha). we were so noisy that i thought the people there were gonna request us to transfer to one of the al fresco tables.

after lunch, of course, the girls wouldn't dare leave without shopping. it was alright though because yobi and i also had our fair share of 'shopping' when we looked for an attire for maddie's debut (and it helps to have female friends when you're trying on different polos and ties haha). after all that, i was kinda tired from all the walking (if you've gone shopping with a living, breathing female, you'd know what i mean) and i suggested we take a break over coffee. but we had to leave early because my maddie still had to go to mass with her family. so on the way back, we stopped by starbucks at town to get a quick fix before finally heading home.

when i arrived home, i helped myself to a delicious cake my cousins brought. i though of going out again but i had the sudden urge to control myself because 1) i was, after all, tired and wasted and 2) i (surprisingly) decided to save up what was left of my money. so for the rest of the night, i just made myself busy with music, tv and god of war (it's an addicting ps2 game!) and i hardly thought of any of the things that troubled me.

i wish i could have more of these days. this is probably the only entry without me ranting over my frustrations. :)
