stumble upon

mood :: numb
semisonic :: closing time
random thought :: it's weird. there would be times when you'd feel as though something bad will happen. when it finally does, you're caught off-guard.

it was an 'okay' day i guess. i slacked around the house until after lunch because my first class was 340. ninang came over to prepare lunch for us.. and because everybody in the house thought i still had an upset stomach (my tummy's fine now, thank you), she had appropriately served steamed fish (with a sauce mixture i couldn't quite put my finger on) for me.. it was alright though.

we're using a new online browser because all our previous ones have been corrupted by who knows what. we use mozilla now and my brother downloaded a plethora of add-ons, including a satellite weather tracker and a very cool 'stumble upon' button. the latter feature is best used when you're killing time. you simply click the 'stumble upon' icon and it will lead you to a cool random website --- sometimes fascinating, sometimes hilarious, sometimes downright weird. my brother bookmarked a funny site that has mp3s or wavs of excuses when you really have to get off the phone: http://www.sorrygottago.com

anyway, as i was going to school, kelloggs messaged me up. she told me i was going to be part of her 18 roses on her debut. it was okay really (besides the fact na mabubutas ang pocket mo kabibili ng regalo, i love the debut season) but there was a big problem. three-way conflict. the date of her debut fell on the weekend when i was planning to have my own birthday party --- at the same time, it was the teambuilding of one of my orgs. pano na?!

i received a pleasant surprise from aia when i had asked her out to dinner. yellow cab. new york's finest. treat niya (hey, i offered to split it but she insisted.. happy daw siya, whatever that meant).

grabe yung ulan kanina. ang lakas pa ng hangin. buti na lang nakatawid na kami ng taft before the signal no. 3 - type rain fell. sobrang lakas talaga. nagbrownout pa sa loob ng yellow cab (with the automatic "owwww" ng mga tao right after the lights go off).

so ayun, we were eating and she was telling me about *things i can't disclose here*. after our long talk over pizza, i already had to leave because i would've been stranted if i didn't. buti nga medyo tumila na yung ulan. hinatid ko muna si aia sa condo niya then i went for the first bus i saw. buti na lang hindi pa puno.

i think i'll stop here. i got my work cut out for me and i probably have to concentrate on my studies now that finals week is approaching (haha is this even me talking?). you guys take care.
